Dear Friends,

For those of you who have asked for Bible, Bible and more Bible, our upcoming TV series The Covenants of God will certainly satisfy that request. The God of Israel made eight separate agreements with men and nations throughout Scripture, and in my mind, understanding these thoroughly is “rightly dividing the Word of Truth” (II Timothy 2:15). As I studied these contracts with God, I realized how much there really is to say about each one.

The series will begin almost immediately on our various networks and stations, so tune in this week. I especially want you to see the opening programs about the Garden of Eden because Prof. Gerald Schroeder is featured. His intriguing discovery is that the six days of creation and the 15-3/4 billion years of the apparent scientific history of the universe are the same time period! This is because of dilation of time explained in Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. I hung on Gerald’s every word, and I think you will, too.

As for the rest of the programs, they explain each covenant in detail.

The meaning and significance of covenants are explained in our first program, which deals specifically with the Edenic Covenant made with Adam (mankind) in innocence before the fall. Dr. Schroeder is interviewed in Jerusalem regarding Genesis, which means “beginnings.” We thought a cosmologist would have an interesting view on the beginnings of man and the universe.

The Adamic and Noahic Covenants are treated in the second program. The Adamic Covenant is God’s covenant made with Adam that conditions the life of fallen men and gives the promise of a Redeemer. The Noahic Covenant is God’s covenant with Noah establishing the principle of human government. Dan Hendrickson, an Orthodox Jew, is interviewed about the specific rules in the covenant and how they apply to the Gentiles.

The Abrahamic Covenant founded the nation of Israel and confirmed, with specific additions, the Adamic promise of redemption. Interviews with Gary Cooperberg, an Orthodox Jew, and Chuck Cohen, a Messianic believer, about the relevance of the Abrahamic Covenant today, are especially worthwhile.

Our fourth program explores the Mosaic Covenant of commandments, judgments, and ordinances given to Israel, “For all have sinned” (Romans 3:23). I interview Dan Hendrickson, Gary Cooperberg, and David Tel Tsur, a Messianic believer, about the significance of the Mosaic Covenant.

The Land Covenant, which secures the final restoration and conversion of Israel, is dealt with in the fifth program. I interview Israel’s former Prime Minister Shimon Peres about the peace process, and also talk with David Bar-Illan, senior advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Davidic Covenant established the perpetuity of the Davidic Kingdom and furthered God’s plan of redemption through the future Messiah. Uzi Landau, Israel’s Head of Foreign Affairs, is interviewed about the threat that Moslem fundamentalists pose to the security of Israel.

The New Covenant rests upon the sacrifice of Christ and secures eternal blessedness for believers. It is absolutely unconditional. Zola interviews Rabbi Henri Noach, Gary Cooperberg, and Benjamin Berger, a Messianic believer, regarding the relationship of Jews and Christians.

The final program reviews the eight major covenants and explains the outworking of God’s purposes with man. A deeper understanding of God’s covenants with man enriches our faith and expands our knowledge of the great Creator we have the privilege of calling “Father.” To Him be the glory forever!

We would appreciate your prayer and financial support for this educational and spiritually enlightening series.
