The Jewish roots of Christianity

Highlighting: OFF ON

Dear Friend:

What a year!

I know I say that every year, but I actually mean it every year. Our ministry grows year by year and, in fact, in the past two years after we undertook the PAX Network, we have grown exponentially. I have the feeling that this is more a move of the Spirit than our financial planning. It’s simply that the End is near, and what we are saying is very important.

I have recently been addressing End Times Prophecy in the Levitt Letter with a view toward informing all readers of the Biblical picture of things to come. To that end, we have created a new prophecy bookmark that you will find enclosed. Our previous bookmark dealt with First Coming prophecy, such as Isaiah 53 and its fulfillments in the Gospel. This one, as you will see, has the Second Coming in view, with the Kingdom and eternity to follow. I think that many of us will not see death, and need to be informed as to the remarkable events just ahead.

The unbeliever also needs to be informed because he’s facing a very rough ride. Many unbelievers follow our ministry faithfully and some of them actually contribute to it. Eventually some of them come to faith. An interesting statistic is that our largest viewing audience, established electronically some time back, is in Florida. Retired Jewish people must be enjoying our view of Israel and the fact that we tell the simple truth about that sister democracy. They become followers of what we are saying, and some of them tend to pick up a Bible. From there, Salvation is easy and free, for them and for anyone else.

I’ve said it for 35 years of ministry: anyone who will read the Scriptures with an open mind will be saved, and that’s all there is to that.

At year’s end, I obviously have to urge you to give us financial support. Our December gifts pretty much decide what we can undertake in the coming year. In view of our new networks and our usual plans to make location programs in Israel, we covet your gifts at this time. The more people we can inform about the nearness of the End, the more salvations, the more joy and peace, and the more people in the Kingdom to come. Since this ministry is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, contributions to us are tax deductible. Gifts that are postmarked by December 31 will give donors the same tax benefit as those made earlier in the year.

By way of supporting us, I can certainly recommend our Institute for Jewish and Christian Studies. Thousands of people have availed themselves of this correspondence course, and it is typical for me to see our diploma on the walls of pastors’ offices as I speak in churches. You don’t have to be a seminary graduate to understand our course; the knowledge is all spelled out on audiotapes, and our office answers pertinent Bible questions. Knowledge of Israel and prophecy is more crucial at this time than it ever has been in all history!

Please support Israel by treating yourself to a Holy Land tour. Our March group is filling up fast. Experience firsthand why our Lord would say, Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these (Matt. 6:28–29). You will no longer have to imagine what our Lord was speaking of as he addressed the multitude on the Mt. of Beatitudes. This is just one of many places that will transform your Bible into reality. The Deluxe Tour (Israel only) is March 19–30 with our popular Grand Petra tour extending to April 2nd.

For educators, students, and those looking for a less expensive tour, join my wife, Sandra, on our Summer Tour, which is scheduled for June 6–16. You will be rewarded with a “hands-on” experience, as you are led by real archaeologists to dig for treasures that are thousands of years old — one of many adventures that you will experience on this tour.

For information on either of the above tours, you may contact Tony at 214-696-9760 during business hours, call 1-800-WONDERS (966-3377) anytime, or visit www.levitt.com and click on Zola’s Tours to fill in a request online.

Please know that we are switching our mailing list to a new computer system. The software company has promised a smooth transition, but I ask you to keep a watchful eye. If four weeks pass without your receiving a letter from me, then please contact my office with the enclosed response card or by emailing us at or, during office hours, calling (214) 696-8844. Thanks.

There’s nothing left to say but what I always say: Sha’alu Shalom Yerushalayim, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Your messenger,

Zola

P.S. We again enclose our Charity Navigator statistics, because that secular examiner of ministries and other charities has again given us top marks. This is to assure you that nothing is wasted in this ministry. We are deeply committed to serving our Lord in the most responsible way.
