More than ever, we live in extraordinary times—times that prompted the television series we just shot on location in Israel: Times of the Signs. Thanks to your contributions and prayers, this hard-hitting collection of Bible teaching has entered its post-production phase with our plans to release it toward the end of the year.
The series will cover:
So much discussion in the public square centers on ISIS and jihad, Israel and its restoration, Netanyahu and Obama, marriage and morality, climate change and lifestyle that we felt compelled to address these issues on television. Some of the leading experts associated with these topics enhance our discussions.
Personally, I found my time with Rabbi Yehuda Glick uplifting. His
agreeing to meet with me knowing that I am a Messianic Jew encouraged
me, as did his incredibly sweet spirit and gratitude to HaShem (lit. The
Name, our Lord) for sparing his life after a murderous attempt to silence
him. He was remarkably apolitical and focused on his hope that one day
all people will worship on the Temple Mount.
I will bring them to My holy mountain…because My Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations. Isaiah 56:7
It will be fascinating to watch God arrange the chessboard for a pre-Millennial Temple to be built (for a false messiah to occupy, 2 Thessalonians 2:4). For more on this subject, please see Zola’s still-current audio Bible study Tribulation Temple, on page 7.
Another compelling interview occurred with Jonathan Feldstein of Heart to Heart, a unique “virtual” blood donation program. Jonathan’s work provides a venue for Christians to bless Israel by supporting Magen David Adom (MDA)’s life-sustaining paramedic and blood-banking services. Zola Levitt Ministries’ benevolence funds support this service; for example, donating enough money through Bridges for Peace to supply an ambulance and other equipment for MDA. During our interview, Jonathan reminded me of the outpouring of love from Israelis as they lined up to donate blood for Americans after the 9/11 attacks.
The ambulance donation and blood drive are just two of the stories that emphasize the unique cooperation between Christians and Jews.
I heard it said recently that the twentieth century was the season of Jewish persecution, and the twenty-first is the season of Christian persecution. Believers must push the news media to highlight the current-day persecution of Christians around the world, particularly in Islamic nations. The continued naïveté / blindness / appeasement / collusion by Western leaders regarding the threat posed by radical Islam are all a sign and a wonder (John 4:48) in our own time.
As an American Jew, I scratch my head and pray about my fellow Jewish-Americans’
propensity to condemn all things Christian while ignoring Moslem oppression and slaughter
of “infidels:” women, gays, Jews, Christians, and even other Moslems who don’t adhere to
a specific interpretation of the Koran.
This ministry must not be silent! We will continue to speak openly about the worldwide persecution and slaughter of Christians and pre- Christians (those who have yet to accept our Lord’s gift of salvation). We do this on our weekly TV program Zola Levitt Presents, in the monthly Levitt Letter, through these Personal Letters, and when we host pilgrims on study tours in Israel. When you come with us to the Holy Land, you hear a strong Zionist message that focuses on Jesus as Messiah and the Jewish history of Israel. We also support our Arab Christian cousins who love Israel.

Katharine and I returned from Israel and hit the ground running. We preached a Good Friday service to 900 and hosted an “intimate” Seder for 200 the following week! Now we count the 50 days to Shavuot/Pentecost, the concurrent birthdays of the Torah and the Church on Sunday, May 24. Chag Sameach! — Happy Holiday!
