Dear Friend,
Stormy and soggy Dallas has been inundated with more rain than any prognosticator foresaw. Katharine and I arrived here early to teach at a Pentecost conference but right on time to get caught in a downpour. In God’s sense of humor, my teaching theme was “From Golden Gate to Golden Gate … the rising waters of God’s Spirit around the world.”
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. —Habakkuk 2:14
For years, that theme has characterized Katharine’s and my ministry in the San Francisco Bay area. We believe that God desires to create a global awareness of the centrality of Hebrew life from the ends of the Earth all the way back to Jerusalem. To that end, we have a logo that includes the reminder that the Eastern Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City Wall—also called Messiah’s Gate, Mercy Gate, and, of course, the Golden Gate—will remain closed until Yeshua comes to the Mount of Olives and walks through it Himself.
The Lord’s sense of humor again played with me as I assured attendees at the Pentecost conference that I was not speaking of natural events but of the growing light of the Gospel as the darkness rises around the world. That night … kaboom! The skies lit up, pouring out storm upon storm, and flood alerts spread across Texas.
In this “coincidental” experience, the waters of both the natural world and the Spirit arose.
Katharine and I came to Dallas to complete the studio portions of our new television series Joseph: Dreamer/Redeemer. This Patriarch’s life of trials and character development yields dozens of parallels between Joseph and Yeshua. Perhaps more than any other Torah personage, Joseph helps us see Jesus as Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah and the Savior (Messiah) of the world! Just as Egyptian robes prevented Joseph’s brothers from recognizing him, now, more than ever before, the “Egyptian” garb (read: foreign, gentile, “other”) of Jesus no longer conceals Him. His identity as a Jewish man and Messiah is being revealed. Your donations and prayers keep this ministry proclaiming that revelatory truth. Every video we produce, every book we print, and every lesson we teach proclaims that the Jewish Jesus died for His Jewish people and for gentile Believers, who are grafted into the Jewish family tree.
Our younger son, Stephen Joseph Weiss, just graduated from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). Katharine and I are extremely proud of him and believe he is destined to be a provider of wisdom (and, we pray, finance) for many, just like his ancestor Joseph. Interestingly, the name Joseph has recurred on both sides of our family for generations.
Our ministry connects Jesus and Israel for masses of Christians who never hear it from the pulpit. Katharine and I feel blessed to be a part of ZLM along with our TV producer Ken Berg and his camera crew, who do a thorough and biblically sound job of making the Gospel accessible to millions. The quality of ZLM’s programming is consistently high, and Ken pays scrupulous attention to “production values,” an industry term for making the best programs possible. This summer, we will wrap up our next television series, Times of the Signs, addressing God’s prophetic timetable.
I want to encourage you to send a generous gift as we enter the “long, hot summer” of harvest time in preparation for our fall production schedules in Israel. We cannot do this meaningful work without your gifts of funds and heartfelt prayers. Unless the Holy Spirit leads us, our efforts are in vain.
Last December, we interviewed many of the leading prophetic voices for part of the Times of the Signs series of programs. Author Tim LaHaye and others voiced their belief that we are in the “end of the End Times.”
I like to remind people that the Bible is at least one-third prophetic scripture. And, it is the only book on the planet that has consistently seen prophecy fulfilled. God says it, then He does it. The challenge for us is to believe it!
Here are some of the signs happening in our day:
We see this “burdensomeness” as the United Nations consistently ignores human rights violations around the world, but singles out Israel for absurd levels of censure. Add to that the rising tide of anti-Semitism worldwide, and we see a sign that God will soon intervene on behalf of His people.
The seven examples above are just a few of the “signs” that we are nearing a very tumultuous season on Earth. Now, more than ever, we Believers must work while it is day (John 9:4). Just as America and the West need to stand with Israel, you and I can stand in Israel as well! Come with Katharine and me for the journey of a lifetime. She and I would be honored to host you in the Land, and your pilgrimage is a very tangible way to stand with and bless God’s chosen people.

Journey of Restoration — Continuing our ten-part series, you join a Zola Tours group of pilgrims in Israel. Our Messianic Sabra (native-born) guide opens the Bible with the Hebrew language at his command. Pastors Myles and Katharine Weiss teach alongside our local guides. Meet “living stones” of the Body of Messiah in the Land, many of whom ZLM supports through benevolence funds. This month’s programs include:
Journey of Restoration not only describes our tour, it speaks of the powerful work of resurrection life that Jesus wants to impart to you and your loved ones. He is the God of resurrection LIFE!
I’ll see you here, there, or in the air! And please remember, Sha’alu shalom Yerushalayim! — Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! (Psalm 122:6)
Your brother and messenger,
Myles
P.S. I believe that you will continue to stand strong and stand with Israel as the Day of the Lord draws near.
Dear Myles,
The signs are “stacking up” and it is becoming increasingly inevitable that the Lord is coming soon!
“Here’s my donation for July. Please put it to use wisely as you enter the “long, hot summer” of harvest time in preparation for fall TV production.”
The God of love is a matchmaker who desires a Bride for His Son, the Bridegroom of Heaven. This Bride, the Church, will consist of both Jews and gentiles. Yeshua’s sacrifice enables gentiles to be grafted into the life of Israel and share in the promises of God. Understanding the role of Israel, God’s timepiece, is crucial to preparing for the Lord’s return.
In this thought-provoking Bible study, Zola turns the tables by asking, “How can a Gentile be saved?” An interesting, unique look at the grafting in of the Gentiles to God’s plan.
Jeff and Sandra examine Psalms 120 to 134, which are known as the “Psalms of Ascent.” While these psalms may have been sung by ancient Jews going up to the Temple in Jerusalem, they are surprisingly appropriate and timely for Believers today.
