The Jewish roots of Christianity

Highlighting: OFF ON

Dear Friend,

Among the many slanders aimed at the Jewish people throughout the centuries, one of the most persistent and insidious is that Jews are grasping and untrustworthy when it comes to money. We at Zola Levitt Ministries face not only this specifically anti-Semitic canard, but the associated prejudice held by many that television ministries are by nature extravagant squanderers of their contributors’ resources. We’re pleased, therefore, to have received again the recognition of Charity Navigator, the important independent evaluator of charitable organizations, that our particular Jewish television outreach ranks with the very best charities on the bases of both trustworthiness and financial efficiency.

For the fourth year in a row, evaluators at Charity Navigator have given us their top grade of four stars for financial efficiency. As you may know, Charity Navigator has been lauded by organizations ranging from Forbes to Time magazines as the stewardship authority that assesses both secular and religious nonprofit organizations. Since you are a vested stakeholder in our mission, please see the attached letter from Charity Navigator and the information they have posted about us at www.CharityNavigator.org.

With a clear conscience, I can report to you that we endeavor to be God-serving, truth-serving, people-serving, purpose-serving, and not self-serving.

Our principal aims are to help Jewish people come to know Jesus, and to help Jesus’ people come to know the Jews. Through relevant television programs, timely books, monthly Levitt Letters, www.levitt.com, and Zola’s music, we promote the Gospel with a contemporary, prophetically inclined, Jewish flair.

We speak in churches of all sizes, all across the country—all to provide a Jewish-Christian, biblical lens through which people can come to terms with the King of the Jews and also with Last Days’ news. We endeavor to remain credible, merit your trust, and expand in our increasingly diverse culture.

Your faithful support has enabled us to serve you and the large audience that watches our program. Since I re-joined our mission in the late spring of 2006, we have labored together to enhance our ministry activities, including a ministry record for television outreach programs. In the last eighteen months, your contributions have created a Gospel-promoting series, The Gospel According to Isaiah, followed by a seasonal, Gospel series connecting Israel’s Messiah (Jesus) to Hanukkah, the Jewish Feast of Lights. I thank you for financially backing our prophetic series on Daniel and the Last Days’ Battle for Planet Earth, and the teaching series, Woman by Divine Design, which laid out a biblically informed vision for all humankind.

Contemporary events in our troubled world prompted our critically acclaimed Bad Moon Rising series, which boldly attacked the pitfalls of Islam. Your generosity produced the 12-program series, In the Footsteps of the Rabbi from Tarsus, recently filmed on location in Turkey (Asia Minor in Paul’s day), Greece, and Italy. This series—as long as three full-length motion pictures— chronicles all of Paul’s journeys and reviews all of his writings.

The Rabbi series will begin airing in January and run for three months. We’ll then start a new full-length series on Ezekiel and the Middle East Piece Process, assembling the “pieces” of the “peace” puzzle for you. As this letter hits your mailbox, preparations will be underway for shooting Ezekiel on-location in Israel, Egypt, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Please pray for us and help financially, if you can. My vision threatens to run ahead of our resources—and we must maintain our momentum.

In conjunction with the TV production, look for the new 250- to 300-page book on Paul, and a reprint of Zola’s classic on Russia and prophesy that I will update and enhance. An in-depth Bible study to accompany a series that deals with the amazing, supernatural, worldwide Messianic Jewish revival will follow those. These new books come on the heels of my recent paperbacks: The Iranian Menace in Jewish History and Prophesy, Guns & Moses, and Woman by Divine Design, written with Sandra Levitt.

Charity Navigator’s assessment verifies that Zola Levitt Ministries is actively engaged in serving its mission and not its stomach. Our purpose—to restore confidence in ministry and engender trust in, and love for, the Jewish people—requires that we do everything we can to deserve your trust. You have my promise that we will continue to submit ourselves to the scrutiny of outside auditors and government regulators.

Our spring 2008 tour will follow in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul through Greece and the Greek Isles, journeying to the sites he visited in Turkey. We will travel to Israel around the same time, and pilgrims can join us for either the combined or separate tours.

The Footsteps of Paul (March 14-25) will tour Greece, the Greek Isles, and Asia Minor only.
Our Deluxe Tour (March 23- April 2) will tour Israel only.
Our Grand Tour (March 14-April 2) will include both the Footsteps and Deluxe tours.

Please contact Tony in our office at (214) 696-9760 during business hours (Central Time) or call (800) 966-3377 (1-800-WONDERS) anytime.

We love you and want you to love and believe in us. If you are led to bestow, please know that we will credit to 2007 any gifts postmarked by December 31. Thank you for loving the greatest Jew who ever lived—Jesus; and thank you for propelling our mission with your continued gifts and prayers.

Your Messenger,

Jeffrey Seif
