Notes from the Webmaster about Zola's 2006 battle with cancer

Thank you

Sandra wanted me to thank all of you for all the wonderful comments you have posted here.

The web site is filled with so many wonderful things said about Zola and the ministry. Please thank everyone for the family. The song “Because He Lives” keeps going thru my mind. I can and will face tomorrow because Yeshua lives.

Sandra

I had been forwarding many of your comments to Zola until a few weeks ago when it became too difficult for him to read them on the computer.  He also said how many of them were just wonderful and how much he enjoyed them.

Zola – One of a Kind – Will be sorely missed. I can’t imagine myself being this choked up about any other TV teacher or preacher. A priceless man.

  2. Liz Halligan Says:

Zola was my “Wednesday Night Service” I could not believe what I read tonight! I have been praying for Zola’s healing “on every thought of him” and he’s been in the presence of Our Lord since the 19th! Our world needs the truth that Zola taught about Isreal and Jesus so desperately! Who will teach the American Church the Jew first and then the gentile? Who will teach of the rich symbolism of Passover and the Bride of Christ? I am heart broken at the loss of such a wonderful servant of our God! I am so sorry for your loss Sandra! I lifted your heart up to our God in my prayers.

    Love in Christ,
    Liz

Just wanted you ALL to know that still praying and thinking about you ALL! I have witnessed such an outpouring of faith and love from the witnesses because of the Ministry of Zola Levitt Ministries. Just as when Pastor Adrian Rogers passed on, we are able to enjoy and LEARN from his teachings from the Word of God. It won’t be possible to silence the MESSENGER and the MESSAGE of Yeshua is Messiah and there is no other. As I read these testimonies, I am amazed at the numbers of blessings I am personally receiving just from reading them! What an awesome job Zola is able to see clearly all the hard work, moving as the Spirit led, enduring difficulties, and above ALL, SPEAKING THE TRUTH – IN LOVE.

Daily I see the Word of God that speaks to me.

“And Jesus answered him saying, It is WRITTEN, THAT MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD OF GOD.” Luke 4:4

“And ye shall serve the LORD your GOD, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” Exodus 23:25

Both of these verses convey to me that the SAME GOD, of the SAME people, of the SAME PRAYERS, SAME language … for thousands of years, is The GOD of CREATION.

I am trying to listen carefully! As y’all begin to prepare for the Memorial Service, please know you are all dearly loved, appreciated, thought about, and above all continously prayed for!

    Sha alu, Shalom Yerushalym

I had hoped one day to tell Zola I finally have been able to say it correctly. I’m so glad that he said that every Sunday so I could learn how to pronounce it properly and in the process PRAY THE PRAYER!

    Still being blessed ….
    Love always,
    Diana

  4. Al Miner Says:

All I can say is…”You Go Girl”! Jesus lives with you, He lives in you, and He lives through you. God bless you Sandra.

  5. Jeannine Says:

    Sandra, Family and Staff,
Thank the Lord, your Zola came to me via his TV program many years ago. At that time, I was restricted to bed for about three years straight. As a young believer back then, his message always blessed me and I am a better Christian because of his teachings. He nurished my love for Israel and the Jewish people. I just want to thank you because he couldn’t have done it without your loving assistance.
I want to challenge everyone who reads these letters to consider donating to the ministry on a monthly basis and those of us who already do to increase their monthly donation. Just a few dollars a month adds up when many give. The Body of Christ as well as Israel needs this ministry to stay strong.
    God Bless you,
    Jeannine

  8. Mary E. Burke Says:

    Dear Sandra and Levitt family,

I have followed Zola Levitt Ministry for years and always looked forward to finding the Newsletter in my mailbox.

I have been praying everyday for you and your family since I first learned of Zola’s illness and now his passing on to be with the Lord Yeshua.

While I never had the opportunity to meet him or you personally, I felt like part of the family through his teachings and beautiful music.

Thank you for all you’ve given to this “family” of believers in Yesua through your personal sacrifice and dedication.

Sandra, I will continue to pray for God’s strength and comfort to flood your soul and to sustain you in your waking and sleeping moments.

May the knowledge that you and your family are loved and carried on the wings of the prayers of thousands of us help to support you in the days ahead.

    Love,

    Mary Burke

  9. Ronnie Valentine Says:

    Sandra,
May God bless you and keep you until His return.
My wish for Zola would have been for him to go in the rapture as we will soon.
I can hardly wait to meet Zola in the third Heaven with Lord and all of the saints.
We have to remember this is not our home.
We are a breath away from our real home.
Absent from the body, present with the Lord!

    Love, Ronnie

  10. Kenneth Says:

I am very thankful to the Lord and to Zola and those who prayed and supported him; he did so much good in his lifetime, and the Lord is carrying his good works on. He will be greatly missed.

    In Yeshua,

    Kenneth

  11. Mike Says:

Levitt family: Truly sorry to hear of your loss. My wife and I were watching his show tonight. I later checked the internet and heard the news.

A faithful servant, and a good man. He will be missed.

  12. Raymond Taylor Says:

I too heard the news tonight. Heaven is all the more brighter (if that’s even possible) with Zola’s presence there. Things down here seem slightly dimmer with him gone. I’ve feel like I’ve lost an old an faithful friend and mentor. Although we’ve never met I know I truley have such a loss. May we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem in honor of this dear man as well as for the peace of his family in their hour of bereavement. I wish we could just borrow him every Sunday evening to continue teaching us, yet I know that Sandra and the family will carry forward in his footsteps to bring us the marvelous programming he’s brought us throughout the years.

Shalom to you dear Levitt family. Shalom to all of you.

  13. Samson Ben Yoseph Says:

Baruch atah Adonai eloheynu melech ha-olam!

בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

I hope to see you soon Zola.

  14. Tamera Parker Says:

My heart and prayers go out to the Levitt family. I just heard about his promotion last night; I wish I would have known of his sickness so that I could have prayed for him and for his precious family. I have always been a Christian, but Zola taught me that as Christians, we need to always stand up for and beside G-d’s chosen people and the great city of Jerusalem. He also taught me that we are all G-d’s children, and to believe every precious word of our Almighty G-d. I will miss Zola’s teaching so much but am so thankful for all he taught me. I would love to find a church that teaches what Zola did, to both Jewish and Gentile people. I’m so thankful and blessed that Zola taught me to love everyone, and that he taught me how to pray much more meaningful prayers and he taught me so much about the Jewish faith. I hunger to learn so much more because of Zola, and I’m so happy to finally know the WHOLE truth.
In Yeshua’s Precious and Holy Name I Pray for Zola’s family and I look forward to the day when we are all of the same family in Heaven. I can’t wait to meet Zola, G-d’s precious messenger in Heaven.

Zola lived a life that truly brought glory to God, and people to Christ. We all should be praising God for the life of this wonderful Saint.

  17. Phil Brady Says:

    Dear Sandra,
As a widower who lost his wife a couple of years ago, I want to send you my love. I really enjoyed watching your husband’s faith because it gave me hope for all my Jewish friends. Having a Jewish believer in Christ is a great inspiration to so many and I pray that this mission will continue on because so many need this witness today. The seeds of great hope have been planted by a very good hearted man and now the mission will go on for the Glory of our God.
    In Christ,
    Phil Brady

  18. Pastor John Beaird Says:

    Sandra & family,

Our congregation is praying for God’s loving arms to surround you and comfort you. Remember He comforts all who mourn (Isaiah 61:2),
and as you wait upon the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strenghten thine heart; wait I say, on the Lord”. (Ps. 27:14). May God loves comfort you and your family. In time, you will have a mighty work to continue for Gods’ Kingdom. Mighty woman of God be blessed and know you and your family are in our prayers. We have placed a small Memorial to Zola on our website if you want to see it. http://hinenimessiah.com It is the least we could, I so appreciated his teaching and balance in the body of Messiah.

    Baruch HaShem,
    Pastor John Beaird

  19. Martha Evans Says:

    Sandra and Family,

My late husband who passed away in 2003 was a great fan of Zola’s. He was forever ordering his books, reading them and passing them around to family and friends.I couldn’t help but think yesterday when I read of Zola’s passing how Zola and my husband might now meet face to face in heaven. When I shared this with my grown children, they too agreed. Please know that this pain will get easier by God’s grace as time goes on. In Christ, Martha Evans

  20. Betty Carpenter Says:

  21. phillip dominy Says:

I sit here with tears streaming down my face. The world just got darker and colder.Zola is the voice of truth in a world ran by liars. He fought to stem the tide in this country that is turning us against Isreal and our destruction along side the other nations who line up against her.God bless Zola, his ministry, and all who value the truth of the god of Isreal,Jesus Christ and the holy spirit! If I could pick one man to be my brother it would be Zola! His presence here will be missed but I suspect he isnt through yet!I pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

  22. Annette Says:

    Dear Levitt Family & Friends,

I wanted to share something that helps me with my grief
over loved ones that died. Whenever it lies so heavily
on my heart, I listen to a lecture, watch a video or read
a book about HEAVEN. I then get soooo happy for them and
picture them in such happiness that I get the strength to
go on and even find happiness myself in whatever presents
itself. For me it’s VERY POWERFUL.

Also, I had to laugh last night as I was thinking of Zola
and of how he used to say that those 144000 that will witness
during the tribulation will reach so MANY people, because most
Jewish people are great and persistent salesmen that will keep
you until you’ve heard them out. LOL Perhaps that’s what he’s
    being prepared for now…

    With Love and God’s Blessings,
    Annette

PS. Thank you for increasing my monthly donation as I’d requested.
It makes me feel that by becoming more dedicated to the ongoing
of his ministry, I am also honoring him and his life here on earth.

  23. Lou Ellyn Hamby Says:

I completely agree with Inez of what she wrote on April 22. You Sandra, and Zola where one most definitly! When I saw Zola speak in Clear Lake CA, I sat next to Sandra and even in the midst of noise, all she had to do is whisper and Zola heard her. I have never, ever in my life seen two people as one, it was beautiful. But yet they are still one, as Yeshua Lives also Zola Lives, he has not left for good but, only for a time. Sandra you will go on and fight the good fight just as Zola did. How could you not? The Lord is as much with you and your children as he is with Zola and all who believe in the Lord. You, your children and the staff will be in my prayers and I will continue to “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” just as Zola has taught me!
A Sister in Christ, Lou Ellyn

    Shalom, Lou Ellyn Hamby

  24. Claudette Landry Says:

Sandra, I offer my deepest condolences to the Levitt family, friends and all who knew and loved Zola. As a renewed Christian in the Catholic Church, the first time I viewed his television show, I was intrigued and very moved. I proceeded to tell my family and friends about “this soft-spoken Jewish gentlemen,” I’d seen very late one night (I think it was on PAX), “who professed his faith in the name of Jesus Christ.” Since then, I’ve watched the program on TBN while getting ready for work in the morning. I recognized Zola’s work as a Spirit-filled gift and blessed his ministry and witness to the Truth. Just wanted you to know that he touched my life in a most positive way. I know he rests in the arms of the Lord now; may the grace and fruit of his labors continue to be realized in this life.

May the magnificent God of All cast His cares upon you and your family!

    Shalom,

  25. Michael Miller Says:

    Dear Sandra,

Words can not express how much I will miss Zola. However, I know he is in a much better place. I will be praying for you.

  26. Don Sebold Says:

I have just found out today this very moment that Zola has entered the rest of the LORD,I was wondering why I had not recieved his monthly news letter,I was aware of his hospital stay.I want to relate to the Levitt Family my deepest love and prayers in your time of seperation.I always enjoyed Zola’s sense of humor through his wit when challenging the seed of Ishmael in his letters!I comend his courage to proclaim the truth reguardless of comments of those who opposed his message–Much of “my” Hebraic roots have been initially revealed to me through Zola’s teaching-there is a principal established in the Torah in B’reisheth,”that every seed shall produce after its own kind” the seed that Zola has planted is currently producing after its kind–the revelation of our responsibility to uphold Isra’el as Gods chosen people, and that we who trust in the Jewish Messiah are Abrahams seed-one with Isra’el more importantly one-Echad with Messiah!! Baruch HaShem Adonia!!

  27. Sheryl Ask Says:

I just watched the Joni show and discovered that Zola passed away. I am very sorry and very sure that you are missing him on this side very much. Another example of a man of GOD that leaves a huge legacy for the Jew and the Gentile, alike. I am grateful that you continue on to fulfill your destiny in Jesus Christ. May you all even do the “greater works” that Zola talked about and believed for!

I will be praying for you and your family and the ministry G-d has intrusted to your care.Thank you for continuing this beautiful message in our time of our jewish brothers eyes being opened everywhere to Yeshua the Lord, as His eyes are turning to them in soon furfillment of prophesy in the last book of The Holy Bible.I love you in Him forever.
